Feeling Crafty?

I'm up to my ears in fabric, kits and other paraphernalia trying to get organised for the Stitches and Craft show being held at Caulfield Racecourse next week!

The most exciting news is that Liesl, aka Hoppo Bumpo, will be sharing her skills in a Craft Lab to make one of her world famous shower caps. Pippijoe fabric will be supplied in the kit, so you'll be able to take home a bit of glamour for your bathing pleasure or whip one up for your Mum!

I was lucky enough to be invited to Tara Badcock's Art Textiles launch at the gorgeous shop Tiger & Peacock in North Fitzroy. Tara's exquisite embroidered cushions were the star of the show in amongst some stunning homewares and artworks.

Such a beautiful collection of treasures and definitely worth a look, then head next door to the Moroccan Soup Bar to satisfy your belly.

I've just arrived back from a little jaunt through Tokyo and Hong Kong. I have loads to catch up on and kidlets to cuddle but just wanted to share this little shop I found in the back streets of Soho, Hong Kong. Chocolate Rain is a shop full of gorgeous handmade creations all made from your favourite old clothing that is too good to throw away, while upstairs there is a little sewing room with local crafty chicks making sweet purses, brooches and other treasures.
