Crafty work

Piles of fabric has now been cut and folded and packaged ready for the market! I've got so many that I thought I'd put a few in the shop. I'll be interested too see which combinations will be the most popular, and of course, what gets made from the fabric once it leaves my place! That has to be one of the best things about designing the fabric, I just love seeing what other people create

Spring Sling

I've been busy designing a sling bag and after a few different styles and alterations, I have ended up with this one. It is lined with 100% cotton and has a magnetic clasp inside the top to close it. The straps tie together so you can adjust it to whatever length you like.

I'm going to make them in a range of fabrics... soon...

Tomato buds and a hen or two

After a long search for some more lovely 100% hemp basecloth, I've finally reprinted the buds design. This time in tomato on natural hemp as well as black. The fabric is a rich cream and is paler than the previous print run. So soft and luxurious!
I can't wait to use it! I'm thinking of panels on a skirt. Available in the shop now!
The waterhen has also been reprinted in the same colourways. Yesterday, I visited gorgeous Hedgeley Dene, the park that inspired this design for our regular duck/waterhen feeding excursion and met so many new waterhen chicks and ducklings! I love spring!

all lit up

I've been working at diversifying my range for the upcoming market. These are not yet in my shop, as my kids have already claimed both for themselves. But I do like them and I plan to have a few for other people sometime soon...

It moves along at its own pace here at chez pippijoe.
