Hands off!

I haven't been very 'hands on' creative recently. I have so many ideas swimming around but just needs to sort through and pull out the good ones. I've a few projects that are almost done, just need to sort out some sewing machine issues and we'll get there!

Fabbo article about pippijoe in the scene today! Thanks stevie! Now I've just got to feed a child, pick another one up from kinder, tidy up and decide on a few patterns to get the next print run off and running!

Stack O'Cushions

I've actually finished my first 3 cushions!! Honestly, I've done a couple more but they looked so good on couch I decided they'd have to stay!! I've just put these three in my shop. But you'd better be quick or I might decide to keep them too! Still getting to the purses, they're tricky little minxes...

My fabric in other places

It's been a big week with loads of sales and so much friendly feedback! I'm not sure what I was expecting when I put my fabric online but it's been a real buzz to have so many people say such nice things! I'm looking forward to seeing what people are going to create! I was just told of new fabric blog true up that has a couple of pics of mine too! nice
My fabric on curlypop's desk! I can't wait to see what becomes of it next!
The delightful Mrs Potter was very quick to whip up this wall art with my and aunty cookie's fabric!

Half done projects

I've been sewing pieces together to make patchwork cushions. I've bought some beautiful paprika 100% cotton fabric to back them with. I love the combination! I just have difficulty in finding a few consecutive minutes to complete the job! Hopefully this weekend!

I did however make a little square purse. I love it and will make some more to put in the shop. They'll be a few days away though!

Bloggy Love

Wow! I'm getting a warm fuzzy feeling of bloggy love! KirinCo, Hollabee and Freshly Blended have all mentioned me on their sites which is very flattering! I've had such a big couple of days, starting at 2am with a one year old who wanted to sit up and eat water crackers for a couple of hours...

It's been so nice to hear from so many people who like my designs - I'm thrilled you all do! Thanks for all your positive feedback! I'm really looking forward to seeing what all you crafty people make from the fabric!

I'm trying to set up a system to be organised with the packaging and posting - mainly trying to do it when 2 young people are otherwise occupied! I've spread things out on a shagpile rug so some of you may be getting extra fluff in your letters! Other than that I have been keeping busy and did manage to put together a cloth bucket using the buds fabric. I've lined it with calico and really like how it looks. Still not sure how I'll use it. Any suggestions? I might make a few different sizes...

First Sale!

Yay! I've made my first sale! I have to admit it was the lovely Bianca from Hollabee but that still counts!! I managed to snatch a few minutes today and plugged in the sewing machine to make a pencil case... fully lined and everything!

Only for good pens!

A little shop

I'm so excited! I have an etsy shop! pippijoe
So far I've just made up a few mix packs from the few metres of fabric I picked up from the printer the other day. The full runs will be printed in a week or two... looking forward to that!
